We provide both custom and semi-custom design and have full in-house capabilities for hand-crafting, fabricating and mill-work.

Our semi-custom cabinets start with products that are manufactured by major stock cabinet companies, and are finished here in our shop, to meet your project specifications, style and needs. We ONLY work with cabinet brands that meet our standards on value: price, quality and delivery.

Since 1972, General Cabinets has been in the business of designing and manufacturing cabinets for residential and commercial customers. We pride ourselves in meeting five star standards for design and customer service.  We are continuously setting trends and staying a step ahead of the industry.

Proudly offering a curated selection of cabinets, with our customers needs as the key driver. We work with your budget, quality and design criteria to ensure the best cabinet designs and construction within the given guidelines.

Guided by our ongoing commitment to deliver perfection, for both our custom and semi-custom projects, we achieve optimal results managing everything exclusively from our 30,000 square foot production facility in Hudson, FL.

We service all surrounding areas of Tampa Bay and have worked throughout Florida from Miami, to the Keys, Cape Canaveral and beyond.  We have also created and installed cabinets for customers across the country - from Michigan, to Louisiana, North Carolina and New York.  Our Manhattan based clients like to work with us because they get quality and style, without the "attitude" and NY prices.

Donald Josephik, CEO, Sales

When you work with General Cabinets (GC) you get the passion and commitment of CEO, Don Josephik, a.k.a., “The Cabinet Guy”. Don takes the cabinet business personally, as does the entire team at GC. Their pride and ownership shows through in the craftsmanship and commitment to quality.

Since taking the helm over 35 years ago, Don brings innovation and modern day savvy intelligence to the business and is the driving force behind the company’s expansion. Don has over 50,000 commercial and residential cabinet projects completed under his leadership. He has always been one step ahead of the industry. What seems "new" and “innovative” to many, has been in production at General Cabinets for years.

On a steady path for ensuring customers are satisfied and delighted, Don and his staff are perfectionists, in that they will not settle for anything sub-par. They believe everyone should have cabinets that look good and are well designed, within their space, budget and time constraints.

Eric Josephik - Operations Manager

Eric our general manager is a third generation cabinet maker he is in charge of overseeing manufacturing, installations, marketing and quality control. he has also been instrumental to the integration of technology and automation in our manufacturing processes by re tooling the plant with CNC based equipment in the cutting, laminating, and hardware departments to lower production costs and improve accuracy. allowing us to deliver a more precise and affordable product. even in today's global marketplace the integration of technology has allowed us to remain competitive all while keeping manufacturing right here in the USA!
